Our Natural Resources Team focus on Energy Disputes and Oil & Gas. We have advised various multinational, national and government clients on international upstream transactions and commercial agreements such as:
- acquisition and disposal agreements for upstream interests, including tax and investment treaty planning
- host government agreements, including production sharing and concession agreements
- joint venture agreements, including joint operating, unitisation, area of mutual interest and joint bid/study agreements
- engineering procurement and construction contracts
- project finance agreements (including LNG project agreements)
Our advise on Mid/downstream transactions include:
- joint venture agreements
- long-term crude oil supply agreements and offtake agreements
- fuel terminal joint operating agreements
The recent deregulation of the Power sector in Nigeria has led to the influx of foreign investment conglomerates investing in the Power sector. We have advised several of these companies.
